Scanning is a great way of identifying if you animal is pregnant. Having a scan can estimate the litter size and give you an estimated due date.
Mobile Scanning
We offer pregnancy ultrasounds either in the comfort of your own home or at one of our premises. Scanning is a non-invasive procedure, your pet will not need to be shaved regardless of the length of the coat. This is a huge advantage for dogs with phobias of the groomer as well as show dog owners.
We will provide you with a snap shot of her pregnancy status and will go through the images on the screen with you. Answering any questions you may have.

How pet ultrasound works
An ultrasound machine sends sound waves into the pets body using a probe. It records an echo as the sound waves touch an object. This in then reflected back into the machine and processed by the sophisticated computer converting the sound into an image.
What is involved
The procedure typically takes around 30 mins. During this time, we will bond with your animal. We will apply a water based gel to her tummy, which is in no way harmful to the pet.
Most animals tolerate scans without any issues at all, some actually almost fall asleep as they are so relaxed.
