Semen analysis is a crucial tool for assessing the fertility of the male.

As part of our service we evaluate canine sperm count, motility, and morphology of the sample. Semen analysis is part of ensuring your breeding soundness and success.

Taking samples cannot be forced or rushed. The dog needs to be relaxed and comfortable with the situation.

If you have a young dog or a more mature boy that you may or may not have bred from recently, then testing is highly recommended. Semen quality can be improved by collecting samples over a few weeks.
